Welcome to Petova (“Petova,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://petova.pet and any related checkout, account, or customer-service channels we operate (collectively, the “Site” and “Services”). By browsing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or place an order.

1. Who we are

Petova is an online retailer of pet care accessories and everyday essentials for cats and dogs. We sell through this Shopify-powered storefront.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your place of residence to place an order. You agree that information you provide (including shipping and billing details) is accurate and complete. The Site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly sell products to children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction.

3. Products and descriptions

We aim to describe products accurately, including materials, sizes, intended pet use (cat, dog, or both), and care notes where relevant. Colors and appearance may vary slightly due to photography, screen settings, and manufacturing batches.

Product pages may suggest typical use (for example grooming, feeding accessories, travel, enrichment, or home cleanup). Nothing on the Site is veterinary, medical, or pharmaceutical advice. Petova products are general pet accessories and household helpers unless a product page expressly states otherwise. Always supervise pets with toys, chews, collars, harnesses, and feeding tools. If your pet has a health condition, consult a qualified veterinarian before use.

We may update product titles, descriptions, images, pricing, and availability at any time. If a material error affects your order, contact us and we will work with you under our Refund policy.

4. Orders, pricing, and payment

An order is an offer to buy. We may accept, decline, or cancel an order (for example due to stock, pricing error, fraud checks, shipping restrictions, or incomplete information). If we cancel after payment, we will refund the amount charged for the cancelled items.

Prices are shown on the Site and at checkout in the currency displayed for your market. Taxes, duties, and shipping fees (if any) are calculated at checkout or may be due on delivery depending on your destination (see Shipping policy).

Payment is processed by Shopify and its payment partners. You represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

5. Shipping and fulfillment

We currently ship to the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, and Australia, subject to checkout availability and our delivery-time rules. Orders may be fulfilled by Petova and/or fulfillment partners (including international dropshipping). Tracking is provided when available from the carrier or fulfillment partner.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Risk of loss passes according to applicable law and the shipping terms stated at checkout or in the Shipping policy. Please review the Shipping policy before ordering.

6. Returns, refunds, and cancellations

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our Refund policy, which forms part of these Terms. Where mandatory consumer law in your country provides stronger rights (including EU/UK withdrawal rights or Australian Consumer Law guarantees), those rights apply.

7. Accounts and communications

If you create an account, keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may receive transactional emails (order, shipping, returns). Marketing emails are sent only where permitted; you can unsubscribe from promotional messages at any time.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting unauthorized access, scraping in a way that harms the Service, interfering with other users, submitting unlawful or infringing content, or using the Site for fraudulent purchases.

9. Intellectual property

Site content—including branding, text, images, logos, layout, and product photography—is owned by Petova or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use related to shopping with us. You may not copy, republish, or commercially exploit Site content without our prior written consent, except as allowed by law.

10. Third-party services and links

The Site may link to or rely on third parties (for example Shopify, payment processors, carriers, and fulfillment partners). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party sites we do not control.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

Except as expressly stated in these Terms, required by law, or provided in our Refund policy, the Site and products are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Site. Product suitability depends on your pet, home environment, and correct use.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Petova and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for the product(s) at issue in that order, except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other non-excludable rights).

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Petova from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we post revisions. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where mandatory law requires a different process.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to our business operations, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. If a dispute arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Nothing in these Terms limits your right to bring a claim in a competent consumer forum where required by law.
